What's Covered
Our warranty covers defects in workmanship for the following services:
- Drywall Installation: Proper installation, securement, and finishing of drywall materials
- Taping and Mudding: Quality finishing with smooth, even surfaces free from cracks or separation
- Framing: Structural integrity and proper installation per building codes
- Painting: Even application, proper adhesion, and finish quality
- Insulation: Proper installation and coverage to meet specified R-values
- Demolition: Safe removal and proper cleanup as specified in contract
Warranty Period
The 2-year warranty period begins on the date of project completion and final payment. Warranty coverage includes:
- Repairs to defects in workmanship at no additional cost
- Labor to correct warranty issues
- Materials needed for warranty repairs (same or equivalent quality)
What's Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal Wear and Tear: Expected aging and deterioration from regular use
- Improper Maintenance: Damage resulting from lack of proper maintenance
- Modifications: Issues arising from alterations made by others after project completion
- Environmental Factors: Damage from floods, earthquakes, extreme weather, or other acts of nature
- Third-Party Damage: Damage caused by other contractors, homeowners, or occupants
- Material Defects: Defects in materials are covered by manufacturer warranties, not our workmanship warranty
- Abuse or Neglect: Damage from misuse, accidents, or negligence
- Settlement: Building settlement or structural movement not caused by our work
- Moisture Issues: Problems arising from water infiltration, humidity, or moisture not present during construction
Making a Warranty Claim
If you believe you have a warranty issue, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us Promptly: Report the issue as soon as you notice it. Early reporting helps prevent further damage.
- Provide Documentation: Include photos of the issue and a description of when you first noticed it.
- Allow Inspection: We will schedule a site visit to assess the issue.
- Review Assessment: We'll determine if the issue is covered under warranty.
- Schedule Repairs: If covered, we'll schedule repairs at a mutually convenient time.
Response Time
We are committed to addressing warranty claims promptly:
- Initial Response: Within 2 business days of receiving your claim
- Site Inspection: Scheduled within 5 business days (or sooner for urgent issues)
- Repair Schedule: Completed within 14 days of approval (timing may vary based on severity and material availability)
Manufacturer Warranties
Many materials used in your project carry separate manufacturer warranties. These include:
- Drywall and building materials
- Paint products
- Insulation materials
- Specialized products or fixtures
We will provide you with relevant manufacturer warranty information upon project completion. Claims for material defects should be directed to the manufacturer, and we will assist you in this process when needed.
Extended Protection
For clients who want additional peace of mind, we offer optional extended warranty programs. Contact us for details on extended coverage options.
Transferability
Our warranty is transferable to new property owners if the property is sold during the warranty period. The new owner must notify us within 30 days of property transfer to maintain warranty coverage.
